On 52 lanes, the nations will deliver an exciting competition and contest this tournament under the motto “team spirit and fair play”. From 01 August – 12.August 2023 the time has come – athletes from all over the world will compete against each other in an exciting competition for the title “DEAF BOWLING CHAMPION 2023”.
We are looking forward to being together and having a fair tournament! Because this experience connects people with and without deafness and prepares the ground for an appreciative, – in the truest sense of the word – barrier-free coexistence.

The German Deaf Sports Association (DGS) is the German umbrella organization for sports for the deaf and people with hearing disabilities. We are committed to respectful cooperation and combine universal values such as team spirit, fair play and tolerance, not only in sports. The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) was founded in 1924 under the name CISS (Comité International des Sports des Sourds) and is now approaching the centennial mark as the organization behind the establishment, development and consolidation of the tradition of inviting top deaf/hard of hearing athletes from around the world to come together not only in their respective sports, but also to develop camaraderie between their countries.
