Dear bowling sportsmen and sportswomen,
dear visitors

I am especially pleased that the German Deaf Sports Association is organizing the 5th World Bowling Championships of the Deaf in Unterföhring / Munich and that I, as chairman of the organizing committee, may organize this event.

The Bowling World Championships of the Deaf takes place every 4 years. Most recently, this was held in Taoyuan / Taiwan 2019, where I was the first time for the first time at the world championship.

There, I immediately applied for the World Championships for Germany and was awarded the contract, so we can host the 5th Bowling World Championships of the Deaf in Unterföhring.

The time between 2019 and 2022 was not so easy for us either, because Corona and the economic crisis also had a big impact on the organization. Nevertheless, we managed to be able to carry out the World Cup.

At this point I would like to thank the GSV Munich for their work. This thank you is not only for the preparation for these Bowling World Championships of the Deaf, but especially for his efforts during the whole year. By now everybody knows how hard it has become to find dedicated people who spend a large part of their free time in the clubs and especially in the sports club.

Without financial support, we would never have been able to put on such an event. Therefore, we would also like to thank our supporters and sponsors.

In particular, we would like to thank the Dream-Bowl Palace, which is willing to host the World Championships on site. I would also like to thank the numerous associations and EMAX Bowling Service GmbH for their support.

I wish the organizers a lot of success in the preparations and the realization.

I also wish the bowling sportsmen and sportswomen every success.

Many exciting and eventful highlights await the visitors.
