Women’s doubles – short report
In the women’s doubles the Koreans continued their winning streak. With another gold and a bronze medal, they not only maintained their first place in the medal table, but also extended their lead.
Chinese Taipei also followed suit and won silver and the second bronze medal. The East Asian women had already dominated in the preliminary round, only the Ukrainians were able to come close to the top group.
The final turned out to be a neck-and-neck race between the Korean duo Young A Jun/Seon Kyong Choi and the Chinese Taipei team Yao-Chien Chang/Ya-Chin Lin.
It remained exciting until the last throw. The Koreans won and thus won the second gold medal for Korea.
With 2x gold, 2x silver and 3x bronze, Korea is currently in the lead in the medal table.
