Ladies singles
The second day of the 5th World Bowling Championship for the Deaf belonged to the women.
The field of participants included 85 female athletes who competed in the singles.
The competitions were dominated by the ladies from the East Asian countries. Only the Ukrainians and two players from Finland and Germany could keep up.
The semi-finals were contested by Adelia Naomi Yokoyama from Singapore against Satu Kristiina Lintula from Finland, and Sun Ok Park from Korea against her teammate Seon Sil Heo.
Yokoyama and Park reached the final, with the Singapore player emerging victorious.
Thus, Korea currently leads the medal table with a total of four medals already, followed by Singapore.
